HORNAZOS -SPANISH EASTER EGG



The "hornazos" are made in the days before Easter, made with egg on its composition. Sometimes, it's just the dough with the egg. This is because, at certain times, eggs were considered meat, so they could not eat during Lent, but the hens, of course, still laying. The eggs were preserved cooked and eaten after Easter. Thus, the "hornazos" and many other customs, around this time, in which the egg is included.
